This role focuses on expanding nursing knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care to a variety of complex patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. The RN directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers, coordinates physician and support services, and ensures safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care.

- Perform comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collect and analyze data regarding the patient's health.
- Recognize changes in clinical status and adjust care accordingly.
- Develop and coordinate a patient-centered plan of care.
- Communicate with patients, families, and the health‑care team to provide ongoing updates.
- Implement care interventions, including medication administration using bar‑scanning technology.
- Conduct multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
- Evaluate progress toward outcomes and initiate interventions when needed.
- Identify ethical issues and address them with the team.
- Respond to opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Maintain required competencies, certifications, and continuing education.
- Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
- Lift a minimum of 35 lbs., push/pull a minimum of 10 lbs., and stand a minimum of 6 hours daily.
- Follow HMH's organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Associate’s in Nursing or diploma in Nursing; BSN in progress or may be completed within three years of hire.
- 6+ months of relevant nursing experience or participation in HMH’s Nurse Residency Program.
- Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and patient‑centered care skills.
- National certification in a specialty area (when eligible).
- Current, valid Registered Nurse license for the assigned HMH location by hire date.
- BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
Starting at $45.14 hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable estimate of the minimum base pay for this role and may differ in an offer offer based on market data, experience, education, location, and other factors.
