WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Edison, NJ.
Job Function:

• Night Shift.

• 3x12: 7pm - 7am.

• Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance.

• Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities;
Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate.

• Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function. Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems.

• Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians. Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of Telemetry RN experience is required.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current New Jersey State RN license

• BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

• High-level knowledge of cardiac medicine;
Proficiency at operating EKG equipment and interpreting EKGs.
