Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA / P/T with Benefits Nights

Join Hackensack Meridian Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in part‑time, night shift positions. We offer a competitive base rate of at least $20.32 per hour, a $2,500 sign‑on bonus for new CNAs, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.

• Provide patient care as per the patient care plan, including ROM exercises, ambulation, transfer training, feeding assistance, bed making, personal hygiene, skin checks, vital signs, and response to call bells.
• Identify and report any real or potential problems regarding the provision of patient care.
• Maintain clean, safe, and properly dressed patients and ensure adaptive equipment usage.
• Complete all required documentation and reports in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Record intake/output and bowel movements; report any changes in patient condition to Charge Nurse and RN.
• Participate in committees and maintain professional competence through continuing education.
• Foster good relationships and communications with patients, families, and team members.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Completion of an approved CNA program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current with all continuing education (CE) requirements.
• Proficient in performing clinical care professionally.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (preferred).
• Experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation (preferred).
• Bi‑lingual Spanish (preferred).
• Valid New Jersey CNA license.
