Position Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing plant-based beverage brand that has officially entered the U.S. market and is actively expanding our national retail and e-commerce presence. We are looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager with a strong background in supermarket and e-commerce channel development, skilled in building and maintaining client relationships, and willing to travel frequently. You will be responsible for developing new channels, managing key accounts, and driving sales growth, serving as a key driver for the brand’s market expansion in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute U.S. channel sales strategies, focusing on expanding presence in supermarkets (e.g., Whole Foods, Target, Walmart, Kroger), chain convenience stores, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Instacart).
  • Proactively prospect and onboard new clients, negotiate partnership terms, and achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing channel partners, conduct regular store visits, and oversee in-store merchandising, promotions, and sell-through support.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitive insights, and channel feedback to support HQ in optimizing products and channel strategies.
  • Coordinate internal resources (Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service) to support channel sales activities.
  • Monitor sales data, analyze channel performance, provide actionable recommendations, and report regularly.
  • Frequent travel required (estimated >70% of time), covering key markets across the Eastern U.S. and potentially nationwide.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of channel sales experience in the U.S. CPG industry (food/beverage preferred), with a proven track record in supermarket, large retail, or e-commerce channel development and management.
  • Demonstrated success in building channels or acquiring new clients from the ground up; strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with U.S. retail operations and channel management processes; experience with in-store execution and promotion management.
  • Data-sensitive with the ability to use Excel, CRM, and other tools for sales analysis and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills; comfortable working with a remote HQ team.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and highly accountable.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
  • Passion for the plant‑based and health food industry is a plus.
