This is a leadership position reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Education/Experience: Degree in Polymer/Material Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering;
Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum qualifications: 5+ years industrial experience in product or application development; demonstrated leadership in product and applications development with global, multifunctional teams; experience in personal care & household care sectors.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with minimal to moderate supervision. It involves significant travel mainly across North America and Europe. The candidate will collaborate with resources across functions, companies, and locations, leading projects accordingly.
Key requirements:
- Proven track record of leading applications development
- Ability to publish technical papers and present at industry conferences
- Strong network in Personal & Household Care to facilitate rapid partner identification (labs, experts, universities)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to organize, deliver results, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Experience in work planning, budgeting, and meeting tight deadlines
- Customer-focused attitude
- Decision-making based on analysis, experience, and judgment
- Understanding of global business diversity and thinking globally
