Job DescriptionJoin Eurofins Environment Testing as a Laboratory Technician I. This entry‑level position is an ideal starting point for a career in a laboratory setting. No college degree is required.
Shift &
Hours:
Full time – Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime as needed).
- Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
- Perform sample preparation, including but not limited to:
- Aliquot samples
- Spike and trace samples
- Prepare reagents
- Bottle samples
- Prepare concentrations
- Separate components
- Sonicate
- Set up liquid racks
- Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled.
- Prepare general laboratory paperwork: record analysis results, track samples, maintain bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks.
- Wash laboratory glassware for next day’s samples.
- Stock laboratory supplies.
- Clean work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist other laboratory areas as needed.
- General knowledge of chemistry and/or general science

- Lifting and carrying: up to 50 lb. (move samples, dispose of waste).
- Pushing and pulling: up to 200 lb. (move sample carts, gas tanks).
- Body positions: approximately 60 % standing, 10 % walking, 30 % sitting; must tolerate long periods of standing, sitting or stooping.
- Body movements: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching.
- Smell, hearing, vision, and speaking: conversational levels required.
- Education:
high‑school with Chemistry coursework; basic laboratory experience. - Experience:
laboratory experience preferred; previous production‑oriented work helpful. - Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Proficient English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lb. frequently, and up to 50 lb. occasionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
