SMARTSERVICE ROUTE DRIVER (FULL TIME) at Canteen North America

Location:

Canteen – 425 Raritan Center Parkway, Edison, New Jersey 08837.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday; hours may vary with early morning start times. Some weekends may be required. Pay:

We are hiring immediately for full-time SMARTSERVICE ROUTE DRIVER positions.

• Drives company vehicle over established route to deliver products and maintain inventory; ensures proper loading of the truck with all product required to service scheduled machines following outlined procedures.
• Maintains proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines; loads/unloads products as needed; conducts routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Performs product rotation to ensure freshness; maintains accurate machine product and inventory data via a handheld computer.
• Provides client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance; informs regular clients of new products or services; listens to and resolves service complaints and reports issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or materials; conducts inventory reconciliation and maintains vehicle cleanliness; performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Performs other duties as assigned, and reports any defective equipment to maintenance/repair personnel or dispatch.

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver s license; safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
