Tax Manager​/Senior Manager

Base Pay Range

$100,000 /yr - $150,000 /yr

Location:

Edmond, OK

• Manage and coordinate tax audits for corporations and individuals.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks.
• Provide innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax returns.
• Stay abreast of current developments in tax laws to maintain compliance and efficiency.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reports.
• Oversee and manage a team of junior tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Manage clients’ tax provision and tax compliance needs.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
• Coordinate with tax professionals and advisors for audits and other tax planning events.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management on tax-related issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or a professional services firm.
• Proven experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Proficient in tax software and databases, as well as MS Office.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
