Finance ; part-time; Edmond

Starting Salary: $20.18

The Finance Staff position is a part-time job within the Finance Department. They complete financial duties relating to Accounts Payable; data entry; data discovery and maintenance; reconciliation; journal entries; and other tasks. This role is part-time Monday through Friday, with a maximum of 30 hours worked per week.

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or a related field
• 12 to 18 months of relevant experience and/or training
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier

• Enter data into city software
• Review data entries, check the accuracy of data, and troubleshoot data issues
• Prepare, create, and maintain data for entry for multiple areas of Finance as directed
• Analyze data, self-check, review data entries, and reconcile to supporting documentation
• Assist with research and creating and printing reports as directed
• Assist with testing and implementing software

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to search, learn, and understand the software, equipment, and system(s) provided
• Exceptional telephone etiquette skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain confidential information
  
  Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
• Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug and audio screenings
