We’re expanding our team and looking for a driven, personable Salesman & Project Manager who’s passionate about building beautiful outdoor spaces and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Position OverviewThis hybrid role combines sales
, design consultation
, and project management
. You will be the face of Scissortail Landscaping—meeting with clients, developing proposals, closing jobs, and ensuring each project is completed smoothly from start to finish.
- Meet with prospective clients to assess property needs
- Develop and present landscape designs, proposals, and estimates
- Follow up with leads and maintain strong client communication
- Build long‑term customer relationships
- Oversee landscaping projects from planning to completion
- Coordinate schedules with crews, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Ensure work meets company quality standards
- Manage budgets, timelines, and on‑site problem‑solving
- Work closely with owners, designers, and installation crews
- Help streamline processes and improve operations
- Experience in landscaping, outdoor construction, or similar field (preferred)
- Sales experience with proven closing ability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read or create basic landscape designs
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
