GI Endoscopy Technologist - Outpatient Surgery Center

Location: Mercy Outpatient Surgery Center - Edmond I-35

Shift: Full Time (40 hours/week)

Schedule: 8‑hr shifts Monday‑Friday

Overview: Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patient experience. As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtaining needed equipment, upholding patient safety standards and assisting the physician and registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program.

These duties may range from limited to overly complex. All duties are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education:
  
  High‑School Diploma or GED required. Proof of education may be requested.
• Certifications:
  
  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Other:
  Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to perform job‑related functions safely and successfully, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
