Here, you’ll utilize the nursing process to provide exceptional patient care under the guidance of licensed professionals. Your role will be crucial in coordinating care and ensuring our patients receive the best possible support.
Position Details:Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Comparable education and successful licensure will also be considered.
- Licensure: You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the state where you will be working, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Experience: Open to both new and experienced LPNs.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on your specific position, including:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
As an LPN, you will be on your feet most of the time, engaging in activities that require:
- Standing and walking
- Bending and stooping
- Lifting and turning patients with assistance
- Push/pull/grip strength of up to 50 pounds
