American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital role requiring at least one year of experience and a compact or OK RN license.

• Med/Surg unit located on the 3rd/4th floor of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Trauma and travel experience preferred
• Cares for a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma Board of Nursing or multistate compact (eNLC)
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients
• Documents patient responses to interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Travelers may extend once for a total of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or end of assignment
