The Quality Assurance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring that the quality of our finished and packaged products is within specific AQL's and meet requirements as specified. This hands-on position requires collaboration across departments, technical expertise in inspection processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In addition to overseeing inspection of minted and packaged products, this role also supports the die creation process by assisting with die preparation, laser engraving operations, finishing processes, and material organization, ensuring dies meet the same high-quality standards expected of finished production.

• Write/revise documents as assigned.
• Review and approve materials on finished products.
• Review and approve incoming materials.
• Assist in following and training on AQLs.
• Provide real-time training on quality limits with manufacturing personnel.

• Operate laser engraving equipment to produce dies for silver and precious metal production.
• Perform die finishing processes including frosting, polishing, and surface preparation.
• Inspect dies to verify quality, accuracy, and surface consistency.
• Maintain organization and tracking of die blanks, polishing supplies, and related materials.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of polishing equipment and laser engraving machines.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure dies are prepared for production use.
