Retail Associate – Ross Stores, Inc.

Your role as a Retail Associate at Ross Stores, Inc. will involve ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience by welcoming them, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑merchanded store.

• Greet customers with eye contact, smiles, and friendly greetings.
• Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner, including register training.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by sweeping, mopping, wiping, and replenishing supplies.
• Safeguard merchandise and manage loss prevention awareness.
• Follow policies for cash, charge card, and refund transactions.
• Perform merchandise receipt processes and ensure presentation guidelines.
• Provide timely responses to customer service calls and resolve issues.
• Represent the Ross brand and uphold company dress code at all times.
• Contribute to team productivity by using best practices and minimizing steps.
• Adhere to the company’s Safety, Loss Prevention, and Safety policies.

• Effective communication with customers, associates, and store leadership.
• Basic math skills for everyday retail calculations.

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around 100% of the working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, etc.
• Additional qualifications may be required for some assignments.
• Stockroom shifts may require pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 20 pounds.

Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
