Position is based at 1133 N Bryant Ave, Edmond, OK 73034. The role requires flexibility:
Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 6:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Job Title

Relationship Banker

What You Will Do at Arvest
  • Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach with new and existing customers, following the sales process defined in the CFB Retail Sales Playbook. Identify and uncover the customer's financial needs and offer appropriate solutions, ensuring a seamless one‑stop shopping experience. Refer qualified customers to specialized sales forces.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales, strengthen existing customer relationships, and/or initiate new customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to sell consumer loans, accept consumer loan applications, and facilitate loan closings in collaboration with the centralized underwriting department.
  • Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service by promptly acknowledging each customer, greeting with a smile and eye contact, introducing yourself, thanking the customer, and following the complaint process to ensure satisfaction.
  • Open and process simple, moderately, or highly complex deposit accounts.
  • Answer and assist customers’ questions and concerns, including helping customers with deposit risk management and day‑to‑day banking business.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products and services, including digital services and delivery options, and support customer usage of products that best meet their needs. Stay informed about competitors’ products, practices, facilities, and prices.
  • Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives as directed.
  • Use sound judgment in applying bank standards, policies, and procedures regarding customers.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, including compliance training and reporting of violations or suspicious activity.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Toolbox for Success Level 1
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Financial service provider experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
Level 2
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Achievement of defined competencies of Level 1 required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.
Level 3
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful achievement of defined competencies of Level 2 or relevant related experience required.
  • Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to be registered within 30 days required.

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Physical Demands

Pay Range

$19.46 – $23.11 per hour
