Service Greeter

• You're a warm, attentive person who makes guests feel genuinely welcomed the moment they pull into the service drive -- you're calm under pressure, quick to read the room, and you understand that a great first impression sets the entire service visit

• You come from hospitality, retail, or another guest-facing background and you're ready to bring that standard to an automotive environment where the first 30 seconds of every guest interaction matters

Swickard Toyota in Edmonds runs a high-volume service drive serving a loyal Snohomish County community. The Service Greeter is the first face every guest sees when they arrive -- the person who sets the tone for the entire visit. This is a guest-experience role, not a traffic-management role. The greeter who genuinely welcomes guests, communicates clearly, and transitions them to the right advisor smoothly is performing one of the highest-impact functions on the drive.

• Welcome service guests as they arrive -- greeting them by name when possible, acknowledging their vehicle, and making them feel expected and valued from the first moment

• Gather initial vehicle information and reason for visit, and smoothly transition guests to the appropriate service advisor

• Manage drive traffic flow during peak hours -- keeping arrivals organized, wait times communicated, and guests informed

• Communicate wait times, advisor availability, and any delays clearly and proactively -- guests should never wonder what's happening with their vehicle

• Assist guests with any questions about the service process, loaner availability, or shuttle coordination

• Maintain a guest-ready reception area and drive entrance throughout the shift

• Guest-facing experience in hospitality, retail, front desk, or a comparable environment strongly preferred

• Naturally warm and composed -- you stay calm and welcoming when the drive is busy and guests are waiting

• Clear, professional communicator -- guests need accurate information quickly and confidently

• Reliable and punctual -- the service drive depends on consistent greeter coverage from open to close

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

$18 - $20/hr
