Youth Strength and Conditioning Coach, Kid Strong
Join Kid Strong as a Youth Strength and Conditioning Coach at Kid Strong Edmonds. This entry level, part‑time position focuses on coaching children from infancy through 11 years old through a science‑based, brain‑first program that develops physical strength, character, and confidence.
What is Kid Strong?Kid Strong is a private child‑development training center that uses a science‑based curriculum to build stronger, smarter, and more athletic kids. It offers weekly classes led by expert coaches in a supportive, parent‑focused environment.

- Weekdays 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Weekends typically 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Flexible hours depending on center needs; private party coaching hours may increase scheduled hours.
- Coach class sizes of 6‑15 children, ages 6 mo. – 11 y.
- Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team.
- Ensure classes start and end on schedule and maintain appropriate curriculum pace.
- Greet students and parents/guardians prior to class start.
- Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor while leading class.
- Demonstrate and manage various exercises, ensuring proper technique and student safety.
- Keep the center clean and organized.
- Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data, attendance, awards, and provide parents with reports.
- Communicate professionally with coworkers and complete trainings as directed.
- Work in a physically intensive environment, moving equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Provide extra support for parents of students with ages 3 y. or younger.
- Attend monthly staff programming meetings to learn new curriculum.
- Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by Kid Strong Management.
- Optionally learn and manage Coach Kid Strong Camp special classes during school breaks.
- Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable.
- Prior coaching experience with appropriate Kid Strong age group is preferred.
- Prior experience communicating with parents about the Kid Strong curriculum.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics (not required).
- CPR certified.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Self‑starter who gets a job done.
Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour.
