Registered Nurse - Pre​/Post Op

Base pay range: $38.00/hr - $40.00/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Op & PACU Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. This is a patient-facing role focused on admission, pre-operative teaching, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) education. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, compassion, and excellent communication skills to guide patients through their surgical journey.

• Conduct patient admissions and provide thorough pre-operative teaching to ensure understanding of procedures and expectations.
• Deliver PACU and post-operative teaching, supporting patients and families during recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and provide education tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards.

• Pre-op and PACU experience (minimum requirement).
• Current certifications: ACLS and PALS.

• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and adaptable to variable patient needs.
• Prior experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting is a plus.

• Shift: Variable day shifts (no on-call).
• Work Days: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
• Dress Code:
  Scrubs provided.
• Travel:
  Occasional travel to sister ASCs depending on patient volume (not within the same shift).
• Patient Home Care:
  Not required.
