Job Title: Registered Nurse – Phase 2 PACU

Location: Edmond, WA

Employment Type: Full-time (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)

The RN will provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from GI procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs) and various surgical procedures (Orthopedic, Cataract, Hand, ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Podiatry, and a small number of pediatric cases) in a Phase 2 PACU setting.

• Recover patients post-GI procedures and surgeries in Phase 2 PACU.
• Monitor vital signs and patient recovery progress.
• Administer medications and manage pain control as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members.
• Prepare patients for discharge, providing instructions and education to patients and families.

• Experience: PACU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS certification.
• Licensure: Active WA State RN license.

• PACU Phase 1 and Phase 2 experience.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM.
• Shift length: 10 hours.
