Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Edmonds, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
• Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR circulation
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and drains
• Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
• Start adult IVs and perform fetal heart monitoring (FHM)
• Float to other units or sister facilities as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are accepted

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and high-risk L&D patient populations
• Familiarity with couplet care and pre-op/post-op OB settings

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic, full-spectrum OB environment with a staffing ratio of 1:1–3
