Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Edmonds, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
• Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating in the OR
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
• Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
• Perform adult IV starts and apply Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) skills
• Float to other units or sister facilities as needed based on staffing requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
• Ability to commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are accepted

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk Labor and Delivery settings
• Experience with couplet care and pre-op/post-op OB patients

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic, full-scope OB environment covering a wide range of maternal and newborn care specialties
• Expected staffing ratio of 1:1–3, supporting a focused and high-quality patient care experience
