Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Edmonds, WA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
• Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including OR circulation
• Administer blood and blood products; manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and drains
• Administer high-risk medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
• Perform adult IV starts and fetal heart monitoring
• Float to other units or sister facilities as needed based on staffing requirements

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
• Proficiency in OR circulation, fetal heart monitoring, and IV insertion
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are accepted at a different rate

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk antepartum and high-risk L&D patients
• Experience in couplet care and pre-op/post-op OB settings

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic, full-scope OB environment covering a broad range of maternal and newborn care specialties
• Expected schedule of four 12-hour day shifts per week in a well-supported clinical setting
