Job Description:

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, aiming for careful handling of items and efficiency.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from carts at checkout and help load bags into customers' cars when feasible.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning; inform customers of grocery specials and return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas; collect trash and clean spills inside the store and in the parking lot.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store and handle seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Understand the store layout, locate products, and assist with price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety programs and food safety regulations; report unsafe conditions or incidents to management.
• Follow company guidelines and local, state, and federal laws; cooperate in a high paced environment; manage conflicts calmly and honestly handle information.
• Provide welcoming service by answering questions about products and assisting customers throughout the store, including minors and individuals with special needs.
• Perform essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
