Senior Corporate Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Senior Corporate Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This role is responsible for supporting financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities across a diverse portfolio of investments. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who values accuracy, meets deadlines, and works effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements

Assist with consolidation accounting across multiple entities

Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts

Contribute to the annual budgeting and planning process

Support financial covenant calculations and lender reporting

Assist with tax compliance and related filings

Liaise with on‑site accounting teams across assets under management

Coordinate with external accountants during year‑end review engagements

Help develop, document, and improve accounting processes and standard operating procedures

Your strengths include:

3+ years of progressive experience in an accounting role

CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA credentials

Working knowledge of ASPE and Canadian tax requirements

Strong analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience with accounting systems

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team

Strong organizational skills with a process‑driven and deadline‑focused mindset
