Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis, starting immediately. This is a 100% in-office role working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will join a supportive accounting team with strong leadership and a collaborative culture. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident communicating with clients, and comfortable managing collections professionally.

Accounts Receivable Administrator responsibilities:

  • Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with company procedures
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Conduct collection calls and email follow-ups in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve billing issues
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer records
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting requirements
  • Support the accounting team with additional financial and administrative duties as needed
  • The successful candidate has:

  • 2+ years of accounts receivable experience in a professional office setting
  • Experience managing collections and conducting collection calls
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Professional and confident communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations tactfully
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Adaptable and comfortable working fully onsite as part of a team
  • Compensation and benefits:

  • $50,000, $60,000, depending on experience
  • Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
