Our client, a rapidly growing construction company based in Edmonton, is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. This opportunity is well suited for intermediate to senior-level Project Accountants with construction industry experience who are looking to contribute to an organization experiencing significant growth and expansion.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) for assigned projects, working closely with operations teams to ensure accurate billing, collections, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Enter and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions for assigned projects in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review, manage, and reconcile complex subcontractor agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
• Prepare and pull WCB reports as required to support compliance and reporting needs.
• Assist with a variety of accounting tasks, including support for year-end reconciliations and audit preparation.
• Partner with the operations team on a monthly basis to support forecasting activities, including running financial reports, analyzing variances, and clearly explaining results to non-financial stakeholders.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment where workloads are shared and team members actively support one another to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Project accounting experience within the construction industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & Power Point

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
