Site- Project Accountant

Position: Site-Based Project Accountant
Become a Site-Based Project Accountant to manage financial accuracy for construction projects. You'll coordinate billing, timesheet processing, and profitability reporting in a collaborative onsite setting.

As a Project Accountant, your expertise will guide the financial reporting and account management processes. With a minimum of three years of project accounting experience, you will liaise with management, ensure timely data entry, and maintain compliance with contractual terms.

Your role is vital for effective teamwork in this high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive monthly cost analysis and reporting

• Interpret and apply contract billing requirements

• Manage accounts receivable submissions and invoicing

• Collect and verify timesheets for accuracy

• Review accounts payable for proper cost coding

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of project accounting experience in construction

• Proficient in OMS and ERP systems (JD Edwards is an asset)

• High-level Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capacities

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
