Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will play a critical part in owning and improving the financial reporting function while driving process efficiencies and modernization initiatives.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Own the preparation and integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Lead consolidation and financial reporting across multiple entities

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work

Support audits by maintaining well-organized, audit-ready working papers

Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights to support decision-making

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows and reporting processes

Leverage technology and tools to modernize and optimize reporting systems

Your strengths include:

CPA designation is preferred

5+ years of progressive accounting experience (real estate, land development, or project-based industries considered an asset)

Strong understanding of ASPE and financial reporting requirements

Experience with consolidations and multi-entity environments

Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive efficiencies

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems

Forward-thinking mindset with an interest in leveraging technology and automation

Strong communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority

Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
