Position: Sage 300 Accounting Assistant Role
Support accounting functions as a Part-Time Accounting Assistant in Edmonton, AB, within a successful construction company. Leverage your payroll and accounts payable expertise in this vital role.

The Accounting Assistant will facilitate payroll management, including thorough processing and compliance checks to ensure accuracy. Additionally, handling accounts payable and maintaining employee records are critical components. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience, be proficient in Excel, and possess knowledge of Sage 300 for effective completion of financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify bi-weekly payroll inputs for accuracy

• Maintain employee records in alignment with legal requirements

• Review job-related invoices for project manager approval

• Allocate expenses accurately for job costing purposes

• Assist with year-end compliance reporting and documentation

Requirements:

• Proven accounting or payroll experience of 3-5 years

• Relevant post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred

• Strong Excel skills;
Sage 300 experience required
