Position: Senior Accountant Role
Take charge of month-end accounting processes as a Senior Accountant in SE Edmonton, Canada. This hands-on position combines financial reporting, analysis, and collaboration with leadership.

In this fully in-office role, you will spearhead the month-end closing, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. You will prepare detailed financial reports, support audits, and assist in budgeting and forecasting, making impactful contributions to a focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute month-end close tasks with precision

• Conduct detailed variance analyses for leadership

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports

• Support year-end audit coordination with external auditors

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

Requirements:

• CPA designation or strong progress towards it

• Proven full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience

• Hands-on expertise in audits and variance analysis

• Background in manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors

• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP software
