Our client is looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join their team in Edmonton
, Alberta. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in accounts payable, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Enter and code vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.

Reconcile vendor invoices, related accounts, and bank deposits.

Assist with weekly cheque runs, ensuring approvals are obtained and payment procedures are followed.

Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and verify supporting receipts and approvals.

Process monthly employee expense claims for payment.

Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and account information.

Support day-to-day accounting operations while maintaining accurate financial records.

Assist with ad hoc accounting duties and process improvement initiatives as needed.
