MNP is seeking a Summer Student to join their Assurance & Accounting team in the Edmonton Region. This role is ideal for students in commerce or business administration, especially those majoring in accounting or finance. Equip yourself with vital technical knowledge on auditing, bookkeeping, and financial standards while learning in a supportive, innovative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop skills in compilations, reviews, audits, and bookkeeping

• Manage multiple client files and conduct inventory counts

• Prepare balance sheets and profit & loss statements

• Assess audit evidence for financial accuracy

• Collaborate with client engagement teams to build relationships

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration

• Completion of CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites

• Previous office experience in accounting preferred

• Customer service experience is an asset

• Familiarity with accounting and tax software
