Contract Financial Analyst

Tri-global Solutions Group is seeking a Financial Analyst in Edmonton, Alberta, for a 6-month contract. This onsite role requires strong analytical capabilities to manage financial reporting and month-end processes effectively.

As part of the Service Delivery team at the Government of Alberta, you will engage in full cycle accounting while supporting financial transactions accuracy. The role demands expertise in Excel and knowledge of Canadian public sector accounting standards to meet project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and assist with report generation

• Conduct account and bank reconciliations as needed

• Analyze variances and support process improvements

• Work closely with teams on budgeting and forecasting efforts

• Provide input on customer collections and accruals management

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

• 2 years+ experience in financial data accuracy

• Proficient in advanced Excel functions

• Knowledge of public sector accounting processes

• Must work onsite in Edmonton, AB
