In this Audit Intern role at RSM, you'll work on understanding clients' control systems while gaining insight into the audit process. You will be responsible for performing tests to identify reporting issues and drafting financial statements in compliance with regulations. Travel to client sites is a key requirement of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients' needs and expectations
• Learn RSM audit tools and methodologies
• Conduct substantive tests to find issues
• Draft financial statements in required formats
• Evaluate internal control structures during audits
Requirements:
• Minimum 90 credit hours toward degree
• Pursuing Accounting B.A. or B.S. degree
• Reliable transportation for client visits
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
