In this pivotal role, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer, managing financial operations across Nunastar’s expansive portfolio. The position encompasses corporate accounting, property accounting, and hotel financial reporting, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Oversee month-end, year-end closures, and reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards

• Monitor property-level financial performance and budgets

• Guide development team in accurate project cost reporting

Requirements:

• CPA designation is mandatory

• Minimum of 7 years in accounting and finance leadership

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with real estate development and hospitality
