Accounts Receivable Accounting Technician

This Accounting Technician II position contributes to Mac Ewan University’s mission through accounting transaction processing. You will prepare invoices, investigate discrepancies, handle inquiries, and maintain financial records. The work uses computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets, databases, and automated financial systems.

• Prepare invoices for university goods and services
• Follow up outstanding accounts and adjust entries
• Identify and code account payments
• Process sales reports and reconcile daily revenue activity
• Respond to customer inquiries and organize electronic files

• Two-year post-secondary accounting or related program
• At least two years in a mid-size accounting environment
• Accounts receivable experience is preferred
• Experience with cash transactions, deposits, and reconciliations
• Microsoft Office, Word, Access, and Excel experience
