Join Age Care as a Ward Clerk in Edmonton, supporting health and well-being in our long-term care home. You will handle clerical tasks and enhance resident care through effective communication.
As a Ward Clerk reporting to the Director of Care, you will manage various administrative functions vital for our residents' comfort. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, maintaining resident records, and updating staff schedules.
Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth operation within Age Care's caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone lines and relay messages promptly
• Greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas
• Assist with resident information and lab requisitions
• Maintain and assist in organizing resident files
• Prepare and post nursing schedules as needed
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide certificate preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to meet tight timelines
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
