Elevate public services with the City of Wetaskiwin as an Office Assistant
3. This full-time position supports the Protective Services Division while enhancing community engagement.
This role focuses on providing vital administrative functions to the Enforcement branch, including managing inquiries and organizing outreach efforts. You will work directly with the public, respond to concerns related to municipal regulations, and ensure efficient operations within the department. A knack for detail and strong communication skills will be essential to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reception duties, including managing inquiries and messaging
• Register new complaints and assign cases for follow-up
• Prepare reports and handle court documentation
• Maintain various databases pertinent to enforcement
• Coordinate special events and outreach related to the department
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in office administration
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience required
• Knowledge of municipal regulations is beneficial
• Proficient in MS Office and database management
• Must achieve enhanced security clearance with RCMP
