Accurately manage laboratory sample login at ALS using data entry and LIMS skills. Organize incoming samples while supporting shipping and receiving duties.
The Login Clerk handles sample receiving, organization, client-information verification, and laboratory data entry. The position includes bottle orders, sample handling, shipping and receiving, and occasional sample pickup driving. You will work with laboratory staff to support client service while following established procedures, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and organize laboratory work orders and samples
- Verify paperwork and enter information into LIMS
- Identify missing or ambiguous client processing instructions
- Complete and track bottle orders for clients
- Transport samples and support shipping and receiving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accurate, efficient data entry and basic computer skills
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge
- Intermediate English communication skills in all formats
- Ability to lift up to 23 kilograms regularly
