We are currently looking for:
Journeyman, 3rd Year apprentices, and 4th Year apprentices.
Lexus South Pointe is a premier Luxury Dealership in Edmonton that focuses on our employee’s satisfaction as much as our guests. Many of our technicians have been with Lexus South Pointe since we opened 10 years ago. We have an extremely busy service department, and we are searching for qualified technicians.

Applicant should have a general knowledge of automotive repairs as well as Makes and Models of various Manufacturers. Applicant must have a neat and clean appearance; excellent customer service and communication skills; excel in a fast-paced environment and possess basic computer skills.
Responsibilities   Performing requested maintenance & repair work in a productive and efficient manner
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform the repair
Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed
Working with colleagues in the parts & service departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
Perform internal work (PDIs, Safeties etc)

Job Requirements   High School diploma
Toyota or Lexus experience an asset
Automotive Journeyman Technician or Red Seal
Driver’s License in good standing
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
A fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent Customer-Centric Service Skills
Ensures Customer Vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect
Must be a helpful Team Player
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workstation
Skills/Qualifications   General knowledge of automobiles
Good communication and basic computer skills
Good Mathematical and Reading skills
Ability to learn current technology
Ability to learn new Service techniques and procedures
Pay  $70,000.00-$ per year
