Responsibilities
Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, performing all duties in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.
Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production/repairs, cycle times and customer communication.
Conduct multi‑point inspections to recommend repairs while ensuring safety and reliability of vehicles before return to customers.
Document all work performed in the repair order, ensuring wage payment for warranty work by the manufacturer.
Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “store‑provided” equipment.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as required.
Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge in various makes and models.
Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, completed or in process.
Stellantis experience considered an asset.
Red Seal Certification considered an asset.
Completion of a related post‑secondary program and/or training courses.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving history.
