Enhance your mechanical career with Canada Post as a full-time Fleet Mechanic in Edmonton, Alberta. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles.
In this permanent position, you will inspect, maintain, and repair both light and heavy vehicles.
Your role is critical in certifying vehicles as roadworthy while adhering to industry standards and Canada Post policies. If you’re passionate about automotive mechanics and enjoy a hands-on role, this is a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles
• Inspect and document vehicle condition as per regulations
• Certify the completion and quality of repairs
• Keep maintenance tools and shop equipment in safe condition
• Collaborate with front-line operations on vehicle issues
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent
• Certified as Automotive Service Technician or equivalent
• Physically able to handle demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• License for heavy vehicle operation as per provincial regulations
