University of Alberta Automotive Specialist

Take on the role of Automotive Specialist at the University of Alberta, providing essential vehicle servicing and repair at our Edmonton campuses. Engage with a variety of vehicles from cars to buses.

In this in-person position, you will service a diverse fleet of vehicles owned by the University of Alberta. Your responsibilities will include conducting commercial vehicle inspections and ensuring accurate repair and maintenance services. You will also manage parts procurement and assist fellow staff with technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair various University-owned vehicles

• Perform inspections on commercial vehicles as needed

• Oversee parts procurement and inventory management

• Track work orders and ensure accurate documentation

• Provide technical advice to university colleagues

Requirements:

• Solid experience in automotive repair and maintenance

• Knowledge of hybrid systems is beneficial

• Detail-oriented approach to inspections and repairs

• Experience with work order management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
