Lube Technician

Toyota Northwest Edmonton is currently looking for an entry level lube and tire technician for our busy, customer driven automotive repair shop. The successful applicant will be energetic, will possess above average interpersonal skills and will demonstrate an above average attention to detail.

• have a basic understanding of the automobile and how it works
• have a demonstrable interest in working on cars, trucks or other motorized vehicles
• have a minimum grade 12 education
• have a clean, valid driver's license
• have no criminal record
• be in good health and able to lift heavy items up to 75 lbs

• Perform the requested automotive services to the customer’s vehicle as instructed
• Report all findings from vehicle inspections
• Perform automotive service checks of fluid, filters and tires as well as courtesy checks on the overall vehicle
• Deliver performance results to achieve service center targets and find innovative ways to increase revenues by recommending products and service to customers
• Work closely with other employees to ensure healthy relationships at all times
• Ensure that the front counters and customer waiting areas are in a clean and organized manner
