Automotive Service Technician

Join Midas Auto Services as an Automotive Service Technician in Edmonton. Bring your expertise in diagnostics and repairs to deliver quality service to our customers and their vehicles.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing various automotive components, such as engines and suspensions. You'll work closely with the supervisor, focusing on technical diagnostics while maintaining clear communication with customers about the state of their vehicles.

Your role will also include coaching apprentices to foster new talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test vehicles for faults and malfunctions

• Repair or replace automotive systems and components

• Execute routine maintenance services and customer advisories

• Complete detailed reports of work performed

• Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required

• Minimum six years of hands-on automotive experience

• Class 5 driver's license for vehicle operation

• Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and techniques

• Strong interpersonal and customer-focused skills
