Project Coordinator Building Operations

Coordinate building operations projects in Edmonton using project management, scheduling, and financial management skills. This permanent full-time role offers hybrid work opportunities.

WCB Alberta seeks a Project Coordinator for Corporate Services. You will plan, manage, and execute capital and operating projects while supporting established expectations and the Project Management Framework. The work includes procurement documentation, contractor coordination, reporting, and project financial activities.

• Plan, manage, and execute individual building operations projects
• Create project management guidelines, templates, and checklists
• Coordinate contractors and supplier activities with security guidelines
• Validate invoices, accruals, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Complete audits, lessons learned, and regular project reporting

• University degree or post-secondary project management education preferred
• Five years’ experience in risk analysis and project management methodology
• Experience with organizational change management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project Management, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
