Bring your estimating expertise to BV Glazing Systems as an Estimator, working with diverse clients and focusing on construction excellence. Regular communication in English and French is essential for supporting our operations effectively.
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications and developing accurate cost estimates. You will collaborate with a variety of departments to ensure clarity and continuity throughout the estimating process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver accurate project cost estimates
• Review proposals and project documents for precision
• Liaise with project management and engineering teams
• Maintain pricing databases with suppliers and subcontractors
• Recommend value engineering solutions in bid preparation
Requirements:
• College Diploma in a relevant field is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in construction
• Advanced skills in Excel and estimation tools
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration
