Construction Estimator

Drive project success as a Construction Estimator in Edmonton or Calgary. Full-time and in-person, this role focuses on preparing bids, attending project meetings, and ensuring accurate documentation.

At SB Canada, you'll work independently and collaboratively to support estimating tasks for construction projects. The role requires 3–7+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in estimating software, and a keen understanding of construction methodologies. Your strong communication skills are essential as you negotiate with subcontractors and engage with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage tender documents for various projects

• Coordinate with subcontractors for bids and pricing

• Conduct site meetings to analyze risks and challenges

• Collaborate on project deliverables with the Preconstruction Team

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Programs

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in related engineering fields

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience in construction

• Experience with design-build projects preferred

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Valid driver’s license required
