Experienced Senior Estimator

Join a collaborative pre-construction team in Edmonton, Alberta, as a Senior Estimator for a renowned General Contractor. Focus on constructing accurate budgets and supporting major commercial projects from $2M to $20M.

The suitable candidate will directly report to the Chief Estimator and be instrumental in the bid lifecycle. This role emphasizes precision in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and logistics planning. Your insights will guide risk assessments and contribute significantly to bid strategy sessions, ensuring timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze contract documents and specifications for accuracy

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for various project scopes

• Develop construction logistics and initial scheduling plans

• Perform risk evaluations and strategize mitigations

• Collaborate in bid strategy meetings and execute deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar

• 5-8 years of estimating experience required

• Proficiency with CCDC contract documents essential

• Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff and Procore preferred

• Gold Seal Certification or intention to pursue
